Bite To Eat? (open m/m preferred)

"No..." The Vampire sighed, leaning back against the couch, closing his eyes.

"What happened? Did you get lost? Or did you lose track of time?" Tyler asked as he stopped just short of the couch.

"Both...?" Dominic mumbled as he closed his eyes, not wanting to admit he'd just been sitting around watching.

Tyler nodded before asking, "Do you need any more covering up?"

Dominic shook his head. "As long as the light doesn't get in I'll be fine."

Tyler nodded and sat down on his couch with a soft yawn.

As if sensing the movement, Dominic quickly opened his eyes again, looking at Tyler as if he was worried he was going to attack him or something.

Tyler raised his brow at him, wondering why he seemed so jumpy. "You okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine." The vampire hissed before eventually sighing. "Just... not out there."

Tyler sighed and nodded, "I just wanted to make sure..." He murmured as he touched the two small scars on his neck.

"Right..." Dominic said slowly, watching Tyler's hand move to his neck.

Tyler stopped as soon as he realized Dom was watching and pulled his hand away as he muttered softly, "I'm going back to bed... There's food in the fridge if you eat normal food... Wake me up if something happens..."

Dominic quickly made himself look away, lowering his head before nodding. "Right... Uh, sorry...about all this." He said quietly.

"Its no problem..." Tyler said quietly. "You needed a place to stay, I don't mind helping..."

"It's your fault anyway..." Dominic muttered, rolling his eyes.

"How the hell is it my fault!? Your the one that was lost outside my place not the other way around!" Tyler couldn't believe he was being blamed especially after he helped him.

"I wasn't lost!" Dominic growled, quickly going quiet when he realised what he said.

Tyler frowned slightly at that. "W-What?"

"Nothing." The vampire said quickly, shaking his head.

Tyler sighed softly, too tired to find out what he meant.

"Just go back to bed..." Dominic muttered, not looking at him.

Tyler nodded and stumbled back to his bed room, falling asleep very quickly. Somehow he felt more at ease then he had the last few weeks.

Dominic watched him go before lying down on the couch and trying to sleep, but found it still a little too light for his liking, eventually ending up in a dark corner of the room, sitting with his knees to his chest, his head leaning against the wall as he slept.

Tyler woke up hours later and frowned worriedly when he saw how the vampire was sleeping.

Though he heard him come back, Dominic kept his eyes shut, enjoying the dark.
