Why Should We Hide?

Artemis pulled back after a moment so they could breathe, leaning his head on Alex's, holding him close.

"Get away..." Jacen said again, though this time he said it while looking at something that obviously wasn't there and not Dante. He'd never done it before, but Jacen had returned home with something one of his 'friends' he hung out with had given him and had taken it after going into his room.

Alex panted softly as Artemis pulled back, he stole Alex's breath away every time they kissed. Looking into his eyes Alex felt like he could be truly falling in love with him.

Dante frowned, "Jacen whats wrong?" He moved over to his brother.

"Come...come sit." Artemis said shyly, taking Alex's hand to lead him over to the bed.

"I- I don't know." Jacen mumbled, sitting hugging his knees to his chest.

Alex shyly followed him, squeezing his hand softly loving how right it felt.

Dante knelt next to him, "You need to calm down, your okay and your going to stay okay."

Artemis smiled and wrapped an arm around Alex.

Jacen went to respond, but made a scared sound instead, covering his face with his arms.

Alex smiled before leaning against him.

"I'm going to get Arty and Alex..." Dante told his brother.

Artemis smiled and kissed Alex's head.

Jacen didn't respond, still hiding behind his arms from something that wasn't there, whimpering quietly.

Alex smiled and closed his eyes as he relaxed.

Dante bit his lip and rushed out of the room and knocked on Artemis's door.

Artemis leaned closer, about to kiss Alex again. Instead though he ended up jumping slightly when he heard the knock on his door. Sighing, he slowly got up and opened the door. "...Dante?"

Alex slowly got up and followed him to the door.

"Arty! Jacen's freaking out in his bathroom, I think he took something that's have a bad affect..." Dante said worriedly, pulling on his brother's hand.

"What...?" Artemis said with a confused look, though he followed his brother anyway. "What do you mean 'freaking out'?"

"I think he's seeing stuff that isn't there Arty!" Dante pulled on his brother's arm to get him to go fast, he was scary.

Artemis frowned and hurried to Jacen's room, pausing just outside Jacen's bathroom, not wanting to just rush in there in case he scared their brother. "Maybe you should check on him first...?"

Dante nodded nervously before opening the door and stepping inside, "Jacen?" He said softly.

Alex worriedly squeezed Artemis's hand as they waited.

Jacen jumped slightly when he heard the voice, whimpering before trying to back away.

Artemis frowned and looked at Alex, trying not to worry.

"Jacen its Dante... I got Arty to help you." Dante stopped moving so he wouldn't scare him anymore.

"Maybe we should call 911?" Alex said softly.

"D-Dante...?" Jacen said, finally seeming to notice him.

"I don't know..." Artemis frowned. "Our parents...if they find out they aren't going to be happy."

"Its okay Jacen.." Dante went over to his brother, "I got Arty and Alex to help..." He then called for Artemis and Alex to come into the room.

Alex nodded slowly, he wanted to help not get Jacen in trouble.

"Dante please...help...make it stop." Jacen whimpered, reaching a hand out to him.

Dante took his brother's hand, "I will Jacen... I'm not going to let anything happen to you big brother." Dante sat down next to him and hugged him tightly.

Jacen made a scared sound again, shaking slightly as he leaned against Dante, closing his eyes tightly.

Dante rubbed his brother's back gently before humming softly a song their mother sang when they were little, he hoped it would help.

Jacen froze when he recognised the tune; relaxing for a moment before panicking again after looking over Dante's shoulder.

"Jacen what is it?" Dante asked as he looked over his shoulder.

"Get- Get it away..." Jacen whimpered; tears in his eyes as he panicked.
